City of Willow River has completed and submitted our service line materials inventory to the Minnesota Department of Health. The service line inventory is publicly available, and you can check the materials for your service line by visiting the Lead Inventory Tracking Tool (LITT) at https://maps.umn.edu/LSL/ you may also contact us at 218-372-3733. To complete the service line inventory our system looked at the date of the water installation in Willow River. As of 9/16/2024 our inventory contains 0 lead, 0 galvanized requiring replacement, 0 unknown material, and 147 non-lead service lines.
Note to residents who get city of Willow River water service. In the months of January, February, and March you will be required to read your own meters and send in the readings with your payment of your bill. Please use the bottom half of the bill card to record the reading. There will be a form on the back of it. Please remember to put your new five or six digit account number on the memo line of your check. If you get email bills, please check your email for information on this as well. Thanks.
